COMPVR
KICKER's CompVR subwoofer offers features beyond any other woofer in its class. It has consistently been the industry standard in sound, performance and price.
The KICKER® CompVR® Subwoofer delivers high performance and power handling with superior bass technology exceeding anything else in its class. It’s the cornerstone from which all legendary KICKER bass is chiseled.

The CompVR comes from a long line of excellence, evolving from the tough-as-nails KICKER Competition Subwoofer back in the day. The newest CompVR is engineered to the highest levels, and its dark look will have any installation primed to perform.

It offers some of the clearest, loudest bass from KICKER’s round subwoofer lineup. CompVR has an updated injection-molded cone which completely eliminates flex and distortion using 360-degree back bracing. Premium KICKER Solo-Baric® technology trickles down into the overall motor structure, allowing the sub to handle more power and withstand more abuse. It utilizes an updated solid pole piece for superb heat dissipation and a wide range of lows. The progressive-roll polycotton spider and steel basket’s perimeter venting assure absolute heat dissipation without breakdown.

CompVR creates motion and sound using high-temp, dual voice coils. A ribbed Santoprene® surround also gives the cone added strength at high excursions. The perimeter venting, Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology, and spring-loaded push terminals are part of the package – high-performance engineering standards found on every KICKER woofer.

The KICKER CompVR Subwoofer is available in three sizes and performs from a sealed or vented enclosure.

2 kicker cvr 12s

i have an 05 ford explorer and i put in 2 cvr 12s with a custom box and a 525 concept amp. lets just put it this way it slams ive gotten 8 sound violations and ive only had them for 6 months. my buddy has 4 memphis 10s with 1250 watts and i blow him away. i sit behind people at redlights and beat down and watch them plug their ears. my roof is literally falling out of my car. u gotta get these speakers!!!

livin loud is all i do

i love the kicker name have 3 12inch cvrs in back of my tacoma truck pushing them to the limit but can't belive they can handle more that what the amp i have them on is pushing ..have no complains here..

3 15" cvr hit

i have my 3 15" cvr on a blazer and they hit like nothin else ive heard before.well other than the L7's but then again those are L7's. i have an extra battery just for my system which is running a "0" gauge to my hifonics the "brutis" amp 5000w. i live in L.A where its really noisy during day time and night time and people hear me coming from blocks away. i have no complaints at all with these subs. living loud is addicting so im thinkin about upgrading to 3 15" L7 or one 18" SOLOX.

Cvr 15s

hey i have 2 cvr 15s (the 07 models) and they pound! i have them in a 8 cube ported box runnin off a kicker zx1000 and it is the perfect combo, ive had no problems wit my setup for two years they r still bangin like they did the day i got them (no problems wit the amp either and thats sayin sumtin since i just had to send in a jl amp for repairs) im lookin forward to upgrading soon cant wait to test the 2010 lineup... definetly livin loud

4 CVR 12s

Recently made the switch to four cvr 12s instead of the two 15s. Nothing wrong w/ the 15s, just trying something different. have each two wired @ 1ohm on a 1000(rms) autotek. (one for each two subs) Just had to put them in the min enclosure. Prob going to have to glass the whole trunk to get more air space, maybe even close it off. I love kicker products, only subs ive had. literally best bang 4 your buck. Highly recommmend these or any of the kicker line of subs n amps.

Kicker CVR 15 Livin' Loud

I have 2 15" Kicker CVR and boy are they loud. I am the only one at my school with 15's and I'm the loudest so far. These things beat so hard the plastic part on my rear glass is coming off my 2002 Ford Explorer. I built a custom 11 cu.ft. w/port box for these subs and it made a big difference from my prefab box. I'm currently running them off a MD Sound 1400 watt 2 Channel amp getting around 750 w/rms at 4ohm bridged. They hit pretty loud but they will be better with a Kicker ZX 1000.1 or 1500.1 I'm not sure which one to get yet. Kicker lives up to the Livin' Loud name for sure.

GO PORTED

IF U BUY 12'S OR BIGGER...REGARDING KICKER...PUT THEM IN A PORTED BOX, TRUST ME THEY ARE WAY LOUDER EXPECIALY IF YOU PUT THEM IN THERE OWN SEPARATE PORTED BOX...MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FREE AIR RESONENCE RIGHT, BUT WHEN YOU DO AND YOU GOT THE RIGHT AMP OH SHIZZZZZZZ THESE THINGS CAN BLOW THE DOORS OFF YOUR CAR THEN GO TO WORK ON THE CAR NEXT TO YOU LMFAO!!!!

THE BEST

I first brought two of the Pioneer 12" impp's and and blowed them within three months. When this happened i wanted to try some new. I went out got two of the Kicker 12" cvr's waited two months to see if they would do the same. When i seen they can hold the power I went and got two more. Now I'm plan on another a change again I am getting two more for a total of six of the Kicker cvr 12's. and running all of them off of two power acoustik class d mono block 1 channel 3000 watt amps. This is a picture of the current setup.

i heard this woofer, here in

i heard this woofer, here in the Philippines and it was installed on a bike's sidecar. the bass it produces is awesome! but not deep enough for my taste.

Subs

I had two 12s hooked to a hifonics brutis BXI 2610d at two oms pushing 1700 watt rme which is far more then they should have and they lasted about a month. I was supprised how clear and deep they hit even being almost 3x over powered. Myspace.com/Derrick545 pics and vids of the new system will be comeing soon
