It’s the Volcom Pipe Pro – sssiiiiiickkkk brah!! Only at the Mecca of the surfing world – Banzai Pipeline, Hawaii, the Pipe Pro signals the start of the 2012 competitive surf season.
 
Beginning Monday, Jan. 23 (thru Feb. 4), surfers will start trying to qualify for the pro ranks during the three biggest and best days of surf. Oh yeah, it’s a 5-star Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) event featuring 112 competitors who want the $130,000 grand prize!
 
KICKER surfers Jamie O’Brien, Joel Centeio, Ricky Whitlock and Evan Valiere will all be waiting out the Pipeline next week.
