Seven ZX.1 Mono-Channel Subwoofer Amplifiers give the user a bevy of energy-saving, Class-D* power choices for supplying bass needs. From 300 watts up to a ridiculous 2,500-plus watts (all listed ratings 2 Ohm at 14.4V), KICKER makes selections available for what it does best… bass. Hiding under an efficient chassis, ZX Sub Amps offer a 24dB/octave low-pass electronic crossover and a 24dB/octave, high-pass subsonic filter fixed at 25 hertz. All have up to +18dB of boost centered at 40 hertz, and all provide an outlet for the KICKER ZXRC remote bass control for that extra bit of bass at the driver's fingertips (the four most powerful amps include the ZXRC remote with purchase).
Differential inputs also make KICKER amps compatible with any factory or aftermarket radio. A muting circuit cancels out additional noise that may surge down the line, so listeners enjoy the cleanest, clearest sound possible. Additionally, a choice of three automatic turn-on modes (remote, DC offset, signal sense) provide ultimate flexibility. Gain and crossover frequencies are top-mounted for easy access to fine tuning.
ZX-Series Multi-Channel Amplifiers put the choice of system installation in the listener's hands. Power in the three models ranges from 90 watts x 4 channels up to 160 watts x 4, giving the user plenty of system decisions to make. The full-range channels' 12dB/octave high-, low-, or all-pass electronic crossover is variable from 50 to 200 hertz with the +18dB of boost centered at 40 hertz. The popular ZX700.5 hybrid model features a sub-rattling, 420-watt Class-D channel to go along with 85 watts x 4, running an entire audio system from a single amplifier.
Two ZX.2 Stereo Amplifiers offer the same bundle of features that designate them unbeatable, including the +18dB of bass boost. The three most powerful multi-channel and stereo amps provide an outlet for the KICKER ZXRC remote bass control (ZXRC sold separately). Optional endcaps are available for all ZX amplifier models. Well, kicker is rock solid reliable and loud and clean. I searched for 3years for one of the Rockford fosgate power 1000 limited edition 25 to life 5 channel amps. I'd had the ax in my car for 2 years when I found said RF amp. I swapped them out. I have a sundown sa12 d4 wired to 2ohms and after just 6 months the RF amp went thermal and blew up. I was never happy with it anyway because the kicker zx was louder, cleaner and just sounded a heck of a lot better. I swapped the zx700.5 back in and the perma grin went back on my face. This amp is worlds better than any other 5 channel amp out there. It's a beast. My certificate said 976 watts total! That's 276 more than its advertised! I will never stray away from kicker again. Thank you kicker for making the most dependable hardest hitting amps money can buy!
2010 ZX 1000.1
All i can really say is wow! I have a 2 12inch solo classics being powered by a zx1000.1 and dwam do they bang! I originally had a 1000 watt alpine amp but that was not cutting it so i tried a 2008 ZX 750.1 and that was pretty decent so i thought well if 750 sounds good may as well grab a 1000. Well its perfect for the subs and my ears lol. Kicker really knows what they are doing when it comes to car audio, especially amps.

I recently purchased this amp used. When I purchased it it was missing the ground and remote turn on screws. After looking I couldn't find anywhere to buy these at. When I contacted tech support to find out if I could buy a set direct, they instead just asked me for my address and mailed me an entire new set... for free! I don't know of any companies with that kind of support and backing of their products.
On top of that I have been very impressed with the power this amp is capable of. It powered my jl audio 12w3's without the gain being turned up much more than half, and it even powered a 10w7 I was looking into buying. Overall this is an excellent reliable piece of equipment with a great customer support backing. It was an extreme pleasure working with them and would definitely recommend this amp.
rf vs kicker
i have 2 2006 model cvx 15s sound amazing only on a planet audio 3000.1d amp love how they shake my rear wiper on my tahoe loosened my mirror my friend is thinking about geting 2 rf p2 15 and thinks it will compare to my system he will think again after buying i go to bass battles and have never seen a rf system beat a kicker system in webster and sq matches kicker beats all systems u dont have to order like fi or dd subs but would you rather buy a 800 sub or a 400 sub or less on craigslist and have a good system that will last you for a long time this is the perfect sub for an everyday system or even a mild bass battles sub

I have never had a sound system before. I have a 2006 Audi A3, and was having problems wit the factory radio so i went into Florida Sound & Protection for a quote on a new over haul. My Tech recomended a set up which consists of a Pioneer DEH-9400, with a Kicker ZX700.5 powering 4 KS 65.2, and a SOLO-BARIC L3 in a L3 SUB BOX. May i say it rediculous, for the baby system i have. This amp is not even turned up half way on the gain and it hits hard when i need it too, but at the same time giving high fidelity. Its hands down a great difference from the blaupunkt sound system that came with my Audi A3. Kicker is the way to go!!!!.
