Real subwoofer performance in a shallow mount. KICKER's CompVT subwoofer offers CompVR quality and performace in places few others can go.
KICKER® introduced a true high-performance subwoofer with a reduced mounting depth a few years back, and it was met with immediate success. Who wouldn’t want a subwoofer that pounds insanely from the slimmest locations? The next generation of KICKER CompVT® Subwoofer slides into door panels and other tight fits.

Two options are available that deliver real KICKER bass and take serious power. The 12-inch CVT12 and 10-inch CVT10 easily handle 400 watts RMS (800w peak) without hesitation.

Precise KICKER engineering allows the CompVT to pound with limited space. A special four-layer voice coil provides the CompVT the ability to work with serious amounts of power without the bulk. The woofer’s stiff, injection-molded, modified-spoke cone is shaped to provide maximum excursion from a slender basket, allowing the ideal amount of flex for better strength and durability.

Space-saving features make for woofers with amazing mounting depths of less than 4-1/2 inches! A ventless, solid-pole design allows the CompVT to be mounted directly against the rear wall of its small sealed or vented enclosure. The spring-loaded binding posts are mounted differently than standard subwoofers to minimize size. Finally, a handy steel “clearance” adapter plate allows the removal of enclosure wall depth for further minimal spacing concerns.

The cone’s 360-degree back bracing, ribbed Santoprene® surround, and Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology help CompVT woofers sound spectacular. Perimeter venting, high-temp coil wire, double-stitching, and a logo trim ring around the steel basket’s outer edges are all features that make KICKER woofers the most reliable and best sounding subwoofers in the world.

Kicker CompVT are AMAZING

I got two of the CompVT 10's for my 2002 F-150 Lariat, they sound amazing, for a small sub, they sure do pack a punch! They are hooked up to a Audiopipe AP-3002 amp that is 1500 watts. I would highly recommend these subs to anyone who has limited space in their vehicle, and now my truck is definitely Livin' Loud!

cvt 12's in camo s10

i bought two of these to put in my s10 and i have a zx400.1 for now untill i get the zx1000.1. but with the numbers its hitting now i will be getting back into CA competitions.

comp vt 6.5inch sub

I am amazed at the amount of sound from this tiny speaker.

I was searching for a replacement subwoofer for my 97 ford probe, and i came acrost this 6.5 inch sub, (the factory sub is a 6.5 inch) and as i read the rewiews for this perticular sized speaker i have to say i was a little suprised at all the bad comments that were left for this speaker, despite all the bad reviews i went ahead and purchased speaker and i have to say i cannot believe anyone would give this speaker a bad review, it sounds great and i am totally satisfied with this speaker, it took limited modifications to factory box and it fit perfect, plus when i hooked it up i said wow, what great sound from such a small package, granted it does not have the chest pounding feel of a ten or twelve, but common people, it is only 6.5 inches big!! lol. Anyway to anyone that reads the bad reviews for this speaker, do not be fooled, it is truley a fine product, and a perfect replacement for any factory 6.5 inch sub, but of course it is a Kicker, enough said!!!

Only a kicker

Alot of my friend gripe because kicker is more expensive than outher brands so they buy cheap stuff. They will be pushing 4 times as many watts as me and twice as many subs but I'm still the loudest with a cvt and a zx 300.1 amp

12" Kicker CVT

I've got 2 Kicker 12s in an 05 GMC Sierra with a Kicker ZX 750.1 amp pushin them....They hit incredibly hard for a shallow mount speaker...I LOVE KICKER!

CVT 2 10's

I have a 2005 Silverado SS I have a Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD, and Alpine Type R's all the way around powered by a db drive A3 80.4 and I went with a probox 2 CVT 10" subs a 3.5 farad cap and a db drive A3 1500 watt amp. I as many others have said was skeptical about the shallow mount subs. But the only thing I can say now is STUPID, those 2 10's hit so hard its unbelievable I would recommend them to anyone even if you don't need a shallow mount sub. THANK YOU KICKER!!!

Love this Sub

I bought the 12" CompVT with enclosure and have it installed in an S-10 regular cab. I have a 400 watt rms. Alpine amp running it. It's LOUD, INSANELY LOUD! I've had the Kicker for 3 years, when cranking my system, (I have 4 X 6's, 6.5 coax, 6.5 components in the kick panel and two more separate tweeters, Infinity and Boston Acoustics (dash)) I love this sub; it blends so perfectly, whether I'm listening to an acoustic guitar or the thump in a rap song, there's no separation of sound, no "beating box" sound in my truck. Definitely the best you can buy for the size and power handling. I've been playing mine hard every day for 3 years and see no reason it won't be playing like new for years to come. If you're on the fence about a sub for your truck, buy this one! (The 12" does stick out a little in my S-10, the 10" would fit perfect, but I sit up anyway) The grille looks great too!

Comp 8's

Alright these things hit hard. i was kinda skeptical about getting them but my dad got them for me so i didnt complain. I have them running on a boston acoustic gt 475 amp. They hit harder then my friends solobaric 12 inch. More than happy.

Cvt 10's

I bought my two Cvt 10's used from a guy I knew, I looked them up on youtube and decided they would hit fairly hard. I hooked them up in my single cab dodge truck to a 500 watt PT amp. At first they hit pretty hard, then I bridged them into the amp and Oh my god, they slammed so hard it knocked my rear view mirror of the track, knocked of my fuse box cover, and knocked out my over head light! I got them runnin of of 4 gauge Kicker wire set. All in all I am absolutely amazed by these compact little subs. I would recommend these to every person I meet. They also extend out 2-times farther than 2 15 inch Memphis's combined!

I bought two kicker comp VT 10" for my 2005 gmc crew cab with the probox for the us truck box. Along with a 300.1 kicker amp that i already had, was kinda up in the air about the compact subs but wow they sound great would rec. them to a friend..
