Real subwoofer performance in a shallow mount. KICKER's CompVT subwoofer offers CompVR quality and performace in places few others can go.
KICKER® introduced a true high-performance subwoofer with a reduced mounting depth a few years back, and it was met with immediate success. Who wouldn’t want a subwoofer that pounds insanely from the slimmest locations? The next generation of KICKER CompVT® Subwoofer slides into door panels and other tight fits.

Two options are available that deliver real KICKER bass and take serious power. The 12-inch CVT12 and 10-inch CVT10 easily handle 400 watts RMS (800w peak) without hesitation.

Precise KICKER engineering allows the CompVT to pound with limited space. A special four-layer voice coil provides the CompVT the ability to work with serious amounts of power without the bulk. The woofer’s stiff, injection-molded, modified-spoke cone is shaped to provide maximum excursion from a slender basket, allowing the ideal amount of flex for better strength and durability.

Space-saving features make for woofers with amazing mounting depths of less than 4-1/2 inches! A ventless, solid-pole design allows the CompVT to be mounted directly against the rear wall of its small sealed or vented enclosure. The spring-loaded binding posts are mounted differently than standard subwoofers to minimize size. Finally, a handy steel “clearance” adapter plate allows the removal of enclosure wall depth for further minimal spacing concerns.

The cone’s 360-degree back bracing, ribbed Santoprene® surround, and Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology help CompVT woofers sound spectacular. Perimeter venting, high-temp coil wire, double-stitching, and a logo trim ring around the steel basket’s outer edges are all features that make KICKER woofers the most reliable and best sounding subwoofers in the world.

the compVT's are garbage i love kicker but they should of never made these i have 2 15 L7's with a 4000 watt amp and whatever you have in you trunk these will blow them away i cant even turn them up half way cuz the flex my windows buy L7s you'll be way more impressed

Put two of these under the back seat of a 09 GMC 1500 Crew with a Rockford 500.2 (would have bought a Kicker but had this left over from an old system). This system sounds AWESOME especially for the size of the boxes.

cvt 6.5"

I recently purchased a pair of cvt 6.5" subs, and let me tell you...IMPRESSED!!! a local audio shop told me they would be no good and wouldn't do the job, but of coarse, they're wrong. I installed them into my 08 mazda BT50 single cab, removed the stock 6.5"s and put these in, it's no pro set up but dam they go hard for what are. AUSSIE THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER

Hitting hard enough to need the next step, sound dampen the truck....2006 Nissan Frontier crew cab.

Embarassing the kids around the block is easy. The car audio industry is a maze of vendors, clouded by fancy marketing schemes, neon lights, pre-packaged in what might seem to you as a "cool" designed bandpass box, amped with 1.1 Gigawatts of power and an amazing flux-capacitor.

Kicker is producing real results. The tech information is right on the mark. Not a quality other speaker companies can admit to.

These CVT speakers are the extremely versitile.

Now I have two custom built boxes that I can change out in minutes.

One enclosure with the rear seat installed and two CVT8's. The second enclosure, with the rear seat removed. 5.0Cft enclosure ported for the 8's and sealed single CVT12 between them.

So powerful and loud that I had to post a warning sign!

i have to kicker cvx 12s with a memphis 2000 watt amp and capacitor! ive got to say that kickers are the nicest subs ive ever had! i also have all kicker QS speakers in my car wit 12 kicker tweeters which are amplified to a memphis 250 watt amp! im thinkin about also putting a couple CVT in my trunk to go along wit the CVXs but idk yet...

I bought a set for my '06 Frontier crew cab. I installed these speakers in a ported box I custom built. I can't say enough about the incredible performance I am getting from these. I am running 500W RMS to them now and it seems they maybe able to take more.

I am awed by smooth bass line sounds that don't distrupt or are distorted by the bassdrum hits, and as advertised they hit hard.

I have used all different brands and size subs over the years from Bacustic, to Knwoods, infiniti, pie-oh-neers, and more. I have worked with a speaker that responds exactly as the specs dictate.

The CTV line is a very practical space saving design. The durability is extremely uncommon. This is a stand out product that is so commonly overrated by the competition. These Competition speakers are the ones the other's need to live up too.

From the price, to the outstanding build workmanship, these speakers offer more then boasting, they deliver the proof.

Kicker brand speakers are my speaker of choice. I have need to look anywhere else.
