The impression left by a 12" Kicker L5 being kicked by a Kicker ZX 750.1 in the caboose of a German pain train pushing the speed of sound on the Autobahn is epic. Live life at the speed of sound.
I have one 12" L5 in my trunk and never knew that my speakers weren't tight enough until I put this in. I couldn't be more pleased! Thanks Kicker!
i have 1 12 inch kicker l5 in a ported box running 1 ohm hooked up to class d mono planet audio 1000 watt amp. it pounds hard
honestly there good
but my alipine comps hit way harder
so go with alpine i sold my kickers when they didnt hit half as hard as my alpines
and alpines are half the price
I just put two 12 inch l5's in a single cab s-10. I thought was pretty amazing, because the seats still go all the way back to the back glass. I still have plenty of leg room. It booms real hard. Hard enough to flex my front glass. Check out my video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJDmmBMZZnU
I just installed 2 10" L5's in my 2008 GMC sierra crew cab and these things jam like it ain't nobodys buisness. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is in the market for a 10" sub.
Best subs i have ever had except for my old L7's but These compete right behind them
I have this sub hooked up to a cheap amp that was given to me and even with the cheap amp with low wattage it still hits harder then the 12" xplode I had before.
I have 4 15'' L5 in a 2003 Expedition.. Love em to death.. Nobody in Columbus Ohio is touching them.. Running 2 Polk Audio 3000watt amps.. Heavy Bass.. Thinking about adding a 5th one.
I got 2*12" in the back of my Carisma ad i like it, its great sound and pressure.
Some music i can get so much bass, it give tears n the eyes. I must say this are best sub i ever had, thanks for a great product

The Solo-Baric L5 inherits all the same patented technology as the dominant L7 square woofer, with a hot new look and improved design for an even mightier performance.
The cone and basket take on a more macho feel in 2008. Like its ultimate SoloX Subwoofer big brother, the Solo-Baric L5 utilizes SoloKon™ technology, a vacuum-formed, ultra-rigid design with vented 360-degree back bracing used to push mass quantities of air. A Santoprene® surround handles the force of the L5’s motor and cone, and a rear foam gasket secures the stamped-steel basket to any given baffle. The logo-bearing steel basket with spring-loaded terminals, a stout magnet, and the logo-bearing protective front gasket also allow the L5 to take on any punishment given.
The L5’s motor structure also handles extreme power with high-temp dual voice coils covering a new heat-dispersing, solid pole piece, a poly-cotton semi-progressive spider with perimeter venting built into the spider landing, and long-lasting Spiralead™ tinsel leads. Altogether it’s a square-sub recipe for delivering superior bass.
The four sizes of Solo-Baric L5 are available in 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm DVC and deliver force from sealed- or vented-box applications.
