If i could get by with this 400 watt compared to 1000 watt ...... amplifiers for this long then you have sold me for as long as i can still hear!! SO, YOU WANT A GOOD STEREO SYSTEM? YOU WOULD BE A FOOL NOT TO INVEST YOUR MONEY INTO KICKER PRODUCTS. I SWEAR BY THEIR COMPONENTS! I HAVE 2100 WATTS FEEDING MY BOAT STEREO THAT BLOWS OUT THE BEACH WHEN I PUSH MY SYSTEM. CHICS BY THE DOZENS DANCING. ALL KICKER, 11 SPEAKERS TOTAL INCLUDING 1 12. AMAZING SOUND. KICKER CONTINUES TO SATISFIY MY NEED FOR LOUD MUSIC. WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING LESS, THANK YOU!
I was a Rockford Fosgate convert. I replaced my RF 300 amp with the Kicker ZX400x1, & was amazed at the difference. I then replaced my RF 10" P1 with Kicker comp 10", & wow, let's just say I am now sold on Kicker. I got the ZX400x1 pushing 2 Kicker comp 10" in a sealed box in the truck of my 06 Mitsu Lancer Ralliart, & man, I immediately noticed a big difference in sound compared to the Rockford Fosgate subs, which would drag when turned up. Kicker makes fantastic products & that is all i will be buying from this point forward. The huge magnets on my kicker subs made the little magnets on the RF look petty in comparison.
I have a kicker 10ZX2500.1 that just replaced my 08ZX1500.1, and a 10ZX650.4 on its way to replace my 08ZX650.4. Then 2 QS60.2 in the front, and a set of KS6930 in the back, all ran with 0 gauge wire. MAN IS THIS AMAZING. I love kicker to death, and always will. There products are top notch, when I go down the street I have to turn it down so the cops don't give me a ticket, I can make it hard to breath in my car, as its pushing 2 CVX 15 inch subs that can each take 1000 watts rms, and my birthsheet on my new 2500.1 is 2845 watts rms, which is a whole 345 more watts then it was designed to do, that is amazing, I love you kicker. I also got the 15 inch grills to go over my subs, man is it going to look tight or what, I can not wait. I love kicker so much, I am glad best buy carries them now, because I get accomodations on all there stuff, which I bought a lot of, and now my system is rocking!!!!!!! thanks KICKER, I will always love you!!!!!!!
I love this amp! I got 3 CVR 12's on a Hifonics 600, and my older brother copied off me by getting 3 CVR 12's but with a Hifonics 1600. So to get back at him I got the ZX1500.1. He was so mad he sold the whole system. Trust me people, Kicker is Performance!!
ohhmahhgodddd i just got the zx500.1 for my boys 2 cvr 12s..he had some money to drop so he told me to hook him up with a system..i got him the 08cvrs with the 08zx500.1 and the dx200.4 with the 6.5" DS speakers in a unlimited jeep wrangler and man i swear to god when we started driving it was louder then this dudes soundstream 15s that were right behiend your head in a ford ranger.. we pulled into a residential area and immediatly set off a car alarm. the birthsheet said 591 watts on the amp..i believe it. we continued driving and i turned the volume down to 12 out of 50 to talk..(yell) to him about this lady that gave us a horrible look..haha. and it was on 12 for a while and then another alarm went off..on 12 out of 50. i didnt even understand it!haha
i personaly am in the middle of buying an L7 15 with a 4.17cu.ft. ported enclosure for my sedan..with a zx1000.1 amp.. i heard an l7 15 powered by a zx750.1 and i was really impressed..so im gettin it soon as my next system..but with a zx1000.1 i like it loud
i had recently purchased this amp and just WOW this amp really delivers power to dual 2ohm subs, i even wired up my 4ohm CVRs and it still dropped hard with only 350 watts at a 4ohm load.
If your looking to purchase this amp, Its damn worth it in my opinion
Seven ZX.1 Mono-Channel Subwoofer Amplifiers give the user a bevy of energy-saving, Class D* power choices for supplying bass needs. From 300 watts up to a ridiculous 2,500-plus watts (all listed ratings 2 Ohm at 14.4V), KICKER makes selections available for what it does best… bass. Hiding under an efficient chassis, ZX Sub Amps offer a 24dB/octave low-pass electronic crossover and a 24dB/octave, high-pass subsonic filter fixed at 25 hertz. All have up to +18 decibels of boost centered at 40 hertz, and all provide an outlet for the KICKER ZXRC remote bass control for that extra bit of bass at the driver’s fingertips (the four most powerful amps include the ZXRC remote with purchase.).
All KICKER Amplifier models use balanced differential inputs, making them compatible with any factory radio and eliminating unwanted noise within the audio system. A muting circuit cancels out additional noise that may surge down the line, so listeners enjoy the cleanest, clearest sound possible. Additionally, a choice of three automatic turn-on modes (remote, DC offset, signal sense) provide ultimate flexibility. Gain and crossover frequencies are top-mounted for easy access to fine tuning.
ZX-Series Multi-Channel Amplifiers put the choice of system installation in the listener’s hands. Power in the three models ranges from 90 watts x 4 channels up to 160 watts x 4, giving the user plenty of system decisions to make. The full-range channels’ 12dB/octave high-, low-, or all-pass electronic crossover is variable from 50 to 200 hertz with the +18 decibels of boost centered at 40 hertz. The popular ZX700.5 hybrid model features a sub-rattling, 420-watt Class D channel to go along with 85 watts x 4, running an entire audio system from a single amplifier.
Two ZX.2 Stereo Amplifiers offer the same bundle of features that designate them unbeatable, including the +18 decibels of bass boost. The three most powerful multi-channel and stereo amps provide an outlet for the KICKER ZXRC remote bass control (ZXRC sold separately). Optional endcaps are available for all ZX amplifier models. Amp chassis skins for personalizing any install can be ordered at www.kicker.com.
While KICKER amps are always covered by a two-year factory warranty, KICKER will provide an additional one-year extended warranty with the purchase of a qualifying KICKER installation kit at the time of the amplifier purchase. Consumers should contact any Authorized KICKER Dealer or read the site for more information.
