The KICKER iKick501 Dock for iPod and the KMT60 Marine Tower System were two of only 24 products to earn the Stereowise Plus elite “Editor’s Choice” awards for 2011, it was announced Monday.
 
KICKER was one of just three manufacturers that place more than one product on the list. The Editor’s Choice award winner can be seen at http://www.stereowiseplus.com/2011/12/2011-stereowise-plus-editors-choice.html.
 
Stereowise Plus editor Jeff Roy stated “only the best earn our Editor’s Choice Award.”
 
A multiple award winner, the iKick with its innovative six-inch square reflex subwoofer made the list.

The KMT60 Long-Range Tower System is specifically designed to reach listeners cruising in or being pulled behind a boat. The dual-box system features a pair of 6-1/2-inch woofers flanking an exponential horn-loaded, titanium-dome tweeter in each enclosure to be heard clearly and loudly.
 
“If you’re tearing down the lake at 50 miles an hour, your tunes will be heard,” stated Roy. “The resolution and detail was phenomenal! The soundstage was excellent and imaging was spot on.”
