KICKER's CompVR subwoofer offers features beyond any other woofer in its class. It has consistently been the industry standard in sound, performance and price.
The KICKER® CompVR® Subwoofer delivers high performance and power handling with superior bass technology exceeding anything else in its class. It’s the cornerstone from which all legendary KICKER bass is chiseled.

The CompVR comes from a long line of excellence, evolving from the tough-as-nails KICKER Competition Subwoofer back in the day. The newest CompVR is engineered to the highest levels, and its dark look will have any installation primed to perform.

It offers some of the clearest, loudest bass from KICKER’s round subwoofer lineup. CompVR has an updated injection-molded cone which completely eliminates flex and distortion using 360-degree back bracing. Premium KICKER Solo-Baric® technology trickles down into the overall motor structure, allowing the sub to handle more power and withstand more abuse. It utilizes an updated solid pole piece for superb heat dissipation and a wide range of lows. The progressive-roll polycotton spider and steel basket’s perimeter venting assure absolute heat dissipation without breakdown.

CompVR creates motion and sound using high-temp, dual voice coils. A ribbed Santoprene® surround also gives the cone added strength at high excursions. The perimeter venting, Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology, and spring-loaded push terminals are part of the package – high-performance engineering standards found on every KICKER woofer.

The KICKER CompVR Subwoofer is available in three sizes and performs from a sealed or vented enclosure.

Well i got to say, for seeing all the ridiculous 15" subs and 18's ive seen around the local car audio shop, for the second entry level of Kicker subs, these do the job very nicely. I have them in a custom bandbass box in the Subi, slaps nice and clean and does the lows real well. running 2 off the Kicker DX1000.1 with a Rockford Fosgate digital Cap and I haven't doubted it any second. Always runs great, can handle more power then says rated, and the looks are matching and awesome! :) If anybody is looking for some good slap and at a pretty decent price, I would recommend. Love it!! thanks Kicker!

kicker comp vr 12''

1 word.. excellent!

kicker comp vr 12''

nice and loud! it's superb subwoofer..

12 comp

This is the first time i invest money on an audio system, and i could not be happier. i have 2 12 comps and they rock, i would like to try a different amp but im still shopping around. I will def be upgrating in the next yea.

CompVR comp 12

I just bought and 2012 Nissan Max sv premium it comes with a nice sounding Bose but I didn't know what I missing until I bought these 12s preloaded in a kicker box.. These things sound great I'm really satisfied with kicker. The guys at the shop suggested the kicker 500.1 amp so I went with that, then kicker wire I'm not sure if I needed kicker wire but what the hell. This system Seems like it was made for my car even the carpet matches the trunk carpet. The install was done professionally because I wasn't messing with the navi. They took about 2.5 hours and did excellent job no wires anywhere the only thing you c is when you open the trunk you see these amazing kicker twelves in a nice kicker box, the installer suggested subs point out? Thanks kicker for the great system it was fast easy and the bass is deep, clean, and loud. Now I'm livin Loud!!

KICKER CompVR 12's..

It even sounds devastating haha i recently bought two of these 12's and all i can say is WOW. Kicker, you guys have put together a helluva sub. Ive got a 91 nissan sentra and i got two of these bad mothers squeezed in my trunk on a 4 channel 700 watt infire, When i cranked them up for the first time i thought my trunk was gonna fly open it was flexin so hard and dont even get me started on my roof. Im runnin em on a 2 ohm stereo stable bridge with the input levels less than half way up and only 8db bass boost, and full crossover, even at that low of a level i cracked my windshield within five minutes, whoever has anything bad to say about kicker subs needs to check their wiring or get their amp's RMS rated cuz ive heard alot of serious systems over my short 17 years and im runnin in the top 5 no doubt haha. Thanks kicker, you guys work wonders.

I have now but into my vehicles over the years 6 complete and different systems. I now will run kicker in all my vehicles. Not only is the quality there, but the pricing is excellent. My vehicles have to be able to run extreme off-road to down the highway towing trailers. Kicker has not once disappointed or frustrated me. Best thing is the fact that they will work with you to help you design the perfect system for you. You defiantly have my support!

Reply to bad review (ANSWER)

Not to seem rude or anything like that, at all but; my wire polarity and gains, ETC ETC and all other setting are fine. From the HU Sub out it RED RED WHITE WHITE same as the box, RED RED BLACK BLACK and the amp as well.

The wiring is fine, maybe i just got excited from all the hype the people have been posting on Youtube and KICKER, and expected the sub to be great but in reality its, one again i say (Average)

(Gain, Input sensitivity) matches the pre out voltage
(wiring) is done correctly _ Monster cable OFC wire.

Just expected Too much that's all.

Oh and the COMP VR 15'' Excursion is minimal had it for 34 months and still needs to be broken in. What size is the Voice coil on the COMP VR 15''? this spec is not stated anywhere, Why!

Thanks for your reply and i never mean to insult or be rude in any way.

guys kicker makes a great

guys kicker makes a great product but please stop being so close-minded if you actually look at what else is out there you realize kicker isnt the only, or best brand open your eyes and look around

So sorry to hear about your issue, but i can tell u exactly were you went wrong. I have fixed this issue with my own sons system and various others over the years.YOU WIRED IT UP WRONG, U MIGHT NOT THINK SO BUT U DID. wiring backwards will burn up the voice coil very quickly (exspecialy in a subwoofer). And i must tell u kickers are probably one of the hardest to burn out. run a complete kicker system annd sometimes son will have it jammin for hours. I STILL TO THIS DATE HAVE NOT MET ANYONE WHO CAN BELIVE HOW MY MIDS AND HIGHS WILL CRANK AND FLAT OUT SCREAM. If u wire and adjust all correctly you wont burn them up. And for some reason something seems to be bad, kicker seems to be a STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT COMPANY. So as long as youve done all right kicker will replace. I CAN SAY WITHOUT A DOUBT, NO OTHER SPEAKERS OUT THEIR CAN HANDLE THE CONSTANT THUMPING AND JAMMING AS KICKER.FROM THEIR HIGHS TO THE LOWS I COULNT BE HAPPIER. HAVE THE 10CVR124-12 AND THE 11KS693 6X9s (2pr). Donated my polks and infinitis, thats how good kicker is. AND BEST OF ALL THEY COME FROM THE HEARTLAND HERE IN THE USA.(one of the few american made products you should be proud of) And any staff or tech people i have spoken with have always been great. (Reminds of how America used to be) JUST KEEP DOIN WHAT YOUR DOIN KICKER
