KICKER has placed all the power and performance of it's square woofer technology in the round. This is the most intense round woofer KICKER has ever offered.

KICKER® has allocated most the performance and power of its patented square-woofer technology into a round subwoofer with the further development of the KICKER CompVX® Subwoofer, creating the most technologically advanced round subwoofer available for those that prefer the circular look in their installation. The CompVX® has been updated to solidify its standing as the best-sounding, deepest-bass-producing round subwoofer.

The CompVX® stands alone among round subwoofers, using all of the exclusive Solo-Baric® L7 design and performance features except the square shape. One-piece SoloKon™ cone with total back bracing for ultra rigidity, high-temp dual voice coils to withstand potentially damaging heat, a solid pole piece providing more mass to subdue additional heat, and a T-cut top plate for a wider magnetic field, stronger bass response, and better sound – it all comes together to form a super-reliable motor structure found only in a KICKER subwoofer.

Inside, the poly-cotton, semi-progressive-roll spider supplies substantial excursion for the loudest bass possible. Externally, a ribbed Santoprene® surround around SoloKon provides max excursion. CompVX's® basket is cast aluminum with motor-cooling perimeter venting and spring-loaded terminals that can accept up to 10-gauge wire.

The CompVX® Series is available in a 10-inch CompVX10, a 12-inch CompVX12, and a 15-inch CompVX15, and comes in 2-Ohm or 4-Ohm DVC. Sealed or vented box applications are also an option to complete an insane audio experience.

2 12in kicker cvx

I have 2 kicker cvx's running on a power punch 2fr1000bd. Believe me these subs hit real hard and real low with no problem. Especially since they just broke in. My amp is pushing 1200 watts at 2 ohms stable, shaking the rust of my blazer.

CVX 10,12,& 15

I have had the great oppurtunity to have every size of this sub in my car and everyone has destroyed my car more than the last. Ive had 1200 bucks in tickets cause you guys know what your doin. I had the 12 for a while in a 6 cubic foot box i built and it hit sooo hard that i blew it and didnt know for like a week. So after that i got the 15, that was wayyy too much for my car, my sun visors actually fell off i had to put 12 sheets of dynamat, my trunk is like a tank now. I got like 5 tickets with that 15 so i decided to down grade and now im using the 10 im surprised on how low i could get the bass on this. Its sad cause i have one in another custom box i made and it takes out some guy at my school with 3 p1 punches haha. At the moment im working on geting the solo baric l7 because i like the distorted base the square creates. But ill have this 10 on stand by this thing is one believes its a 10 as a matter of fact i got another ticket this morning on my way to school and the cop didnt even believe it was a 10 haha. You nailed it Kicker Lets see what next.

A Great sub and company.

I just bought the new round L7 and my car shakes so much. I bought one of these subwoofers last year and it went bad on me, so I called Kicker. I talked to Sara and with no question asked she gave me a RMA number. They replaced it with the new L7 model, the round one. I have to say it's one of the best subwoofers I have bought and one of the best customer service I have came across too.

My set up is: Phoenix Gold RDS 1200 mono, MA Audio 600 for the 6x9, Earth quack wire kit,180 amp breaker for the Shuriken ST-BT20 battery, Stinger Iso 80 amp to shut power off from the main battery,Boss three way cross-over, two caps, Infinety in the front doors with Fli Tweets, Boss five way 6x9 in the back witch are okay.

I have been looking for a sub that can handle the power of the Phoenix and I think I have. The spl is over a 100 ( thats as high it will go ). The bass is so deep and Loud. My trunk lid looks like it's going to pop off. I would tell any one to buy these for two reasons, One there a great sub and Two if you have the warrenty they treat you right by it.
