KICKER's CompVR subwoofer offers features beyond any other woofer in its class. It has consistently been the industry standard in sound, performance and price.
The KICKER® CompVR® Subwoofer delivers high performance and power handling with superior bass technology exceeding anything else in its class. It’s the cornerstone from which all legendary KICKER bass is chiseled.

The CompVR comes from a long line of excellence, evolving from the tough-as-nails KICKER Competition Subwoofer back in the day. The newest CompVR is engineered to the highest levels, and its dark look will have any installation primed to perform.

It offers some of the clearest, loudest bass from KICKER’s round subwoofer lineup. CompVR has an updated injection-molded cone which completely eliminates flex and distortion using 360-degree back bracing. Premium KICKER Solo-Baric® technology trickles down into the overall motor structure, allowing the sub to handle more power and withstand more abuse. It utilizes an updated solid pole piece for superb heat dissipation and a wide range of lows. The progressive-roll polycotton spider and steel basket’s perimeter venting assure absolute heat dissipation without breakdown.

CompVR creates motion and sound using high-temp, dual voice coils. A ribbed Santoprene® surround also gives the cone added strength at high excursions. The perimeter venting, Spiralead™ tinsel-lead technology, and spring-loaded push terminals are part of the package – high-performance engineering standards found on every KICKER woofer.

The KICKER CompVR Subwoofer is available in three sizes and performs from a sealed or vented enclosure.

Comp VR 15'' Average

yeah well, what can i say i matched my Gain (input sensitivity) to the deck @ 2.00v on a Kenwood 500RMS-1000W max amp and no bass boost, the amp matches the Sub exactly running 2ohm load with those setting. What do ya know doesn't perform at all way too quiet checked coils all good running in parallel. i put the bass boost on 1/10 and what you now voice coil overheats, you can smell it a mile away and then the sub shuts down from overheating.

Wanted to contact u and let u know how all has gone. And feel free to publish. DREAM SYSTEM, I have had many systems over time costing thousands. well now I have the best sounding sytem I have ever had for a total investment of $812 (includes all wires and cables) And yes I managed to get every item ON SALE BIG TIME, except one. Total would have been approx $3500. Running 4 kicker 11ks693,s pr of tweeters, pr of 4x6 (dash) lanzars(only because of wattage240) new kicker compVR 10vr124-12". Sealed sweet 1" custom box. 1- 4 channel 600 watt amp. 1 600 watt mono amp(2ohm) stable. And CLARION CZ501 Head unit. IN a full size pick up. Well there was apparently a local radio comp goin on with the young crowd. So I decided to pull in and check it out. And eventually they wanted to hear mine. MAN THEY WERE BLOW AWAY, they voted mine the best. Could not believe how they could hear every note crystall clear and no bass muffle or flubber what so ever. And just flat out scream, kinda of made this old man feel good.(THANKS GUYS) When a police officer came he was very pleasant and has asked if I would mine doing his daughters car. when my crossovers come in will sound even that much better. Hope I can stop by next time I come thru stillwater and let you all listen to what you have helped create. Been doing systems for about 30yrs and this one is amazing. No one still belives the cost and to have this quality. WELL DONE TO ALL AT THE KICKER CO. LIVIN LOUD AND PROUD TILL IM IN THE GROUND

I just bought 2 12 inch

I just bought 2 12 inch kicker comp and they are LOUD

i have 2 of these in my 2000 TL, i recently had a zx750.1 amp ran on it, sounds amazing i loved it!. Sad part about it something went wrong with it and i had to exchange it due to Best Buy not selling the 750.1 anymore, i downgraded to a 500 mono alpine. YUKK! it doesnt sound the same anymore im so upset. But looking forward to getting something in the 1000's range now and adding a 3rd CVR. I LOVE THESE SPEAKERS!!! THANKS KICKER>>IM LIVIN LOUD!!!

compVR 12

i have one compVR 12 in a sealed walmart box(cheap i know i know) but it slams, 800watt lanzar amp and my whole back window flexes

2-12 inch cvrs

I bought two of these bad boys put them in my custom box for my pick up and paired them with a 1000w 1 ch class d mono alpine v do they knock...I have the amp a quarter of the way up...went to the store the other day and laughed as I watched the roof rattle...went inside and the cashier told me she thought someone had stole her car cuz she got bang...when I told her it was only 2 12s she couldn't believe it...because she got 3 15s and still ain't bangin like me!!!...anyways definitely a great buy...especially if you plan on only adding 2 or 3 subs under a seat

Kicker CVR12 vs Polk Audio

I was in best buy the other day, if you are planning to get a sub package don't go cheap. The employee tried to say and prove that a polk audio was louder, clearer and more responsive than the cvr. I can tell you that this is way louder. If you like to feel your base bang from your feet to your skull and back then definitely get the cvr's. They even sounded better in a cheap box while the Polk was in a more expensive box. You will not be disappointed! Pair it with a good amp and a kicker box and you'll be livin loud.

vr brings

I have one compvr 12 in my 2005 Ford ranger stx with a 1200 watt Sony xplod amp powering it and at first I was skeptical I went from 2 12 inch type r alpines powered by a 1800 watt Kenwood they were insane but they were too big for my extended cab truck. And now honestly I believe the one kicker performs just as good and to those people that say kicker is not a sound quality sub I don't think you know your subs haha my kicker supplies cleaner bass and hits deeper bass than my alpines did and they are way more expensive I will soon be upgrading my amp to a kicker all I gotta say is I'm livin loud kicker all the way son
