Providing a superior complement to a subwoofer without breaking into the savings account is reality with DS-Series Component Systems. The mids and highs crafted by these KICKER-infused, four-speaker systems complete the ultimate musical experience in any ride.
Using KICKER trademark, heavy-duty motor structures and Extended Voice Coil (EVC™) woofer technology, the DS Systems produce great performance and music realism. The midrange speakers utilize a sturdy polypropylene cone and ribbed, UV-treated surrounds for precise linear excursion and the finest sound. The reduced mounting depth on DS speakers means one thing — it’s an easy upgrade in a vehicle’s doors or kick panels.
Perfectly balancing the midrange speakers, the titanium-dome tweeters with oversized voice coils deliver outstanding definition and can be mounted in three different ways. The external, two-way crossover/protection network features three-position tweeter levels for dialing in high frequencies.
The DS-Series is available in three models featuring a trio of woofer sizes, including the DS6.2 with 6-inch midrange speakers, the DS65.2 with 6 ½-inch mids and the DS68.2 that fits specific 6x8 or 5x7 factory applications found in specific vehicles.

Coaxials
For an easy-to-install, drop-in factory upgrade with the flexibility to fit into any vehicle’s doors, the DS-Series Coaxial Speakers and 3-Way System provide the clear middle frequencies and precise highs that ultimately define a great-sounding audio system.

The DS-Series’ woofers use a heavy-duty motor structure and Extended Voice Coil (EVC™) technology not found in factory-provided speakers, creating remarkable performance and ultra-clean bass. ay man ive had nothin but kickers since da l3s 4 my old impala I never had a problem wit any of em dats bout 5years 3 different cars n systems later still happy wit em alotta dealerships out here will even guarantee dat dey wont blow or dey will replace em dat said if urs blew dey probably wasnt tuned right n erry1 know if its not tuned right its bound 2 blow also if u have ur stero up 2 where ur speakers have like a poppin or crackin sound comein from em it is up 2 high 4 dat size speaker I seen ur post was fron 2010 so im sure u dont have any of dem anymore but next time it blows I would suggest goin 2 a different shop n have some1 look at ur amps 2 see if dey r set right if dey r den either turn ur volume down or buy bigger speakers dat can handle it
Bangin Kicker Speakers
I have 4 DS693's, 2 KS35's, and 2 10C124's all powered by a Kicker ZX450.2 amp and a 4.5 farad capacitor. MY SYSTEM BANGS! I get complaints and compliments all the time about my music. I used to have a Boston Acoustics factory setup in my 05 Dodge Magnum R/T and it was O.K., but then I put all of this in and wow was I missin out. I'm addicted to the clarity and bass that my Kicker speakers have given me, I'll never use another speaker or amp. I'm LIVIN LOUD!
i have a pair of these 6.2s
i have a pair of these 6.2s in the front doors of my truck, i love the speakers they are extremly loud wired into my alpine amp. they are getting about 500 watts and they dont even distort. im a little disapointed with the crossovers and tweeters, they shut off at about half volume, but all in all its a fantastic speaker.

Kicker DS693 6x9 speakers
I have run several makes of 6x9 speakers in the custom made parcel shelf in my Suzuki Jimny. I've recently bought and fitted a set of DS693's. and Boy what a difference. The vocal is clearer than any other speaker I have had. The top end is so crisp, and the bass is nice and tight. I'm running them off an amplifier around 80 watts per channel with the gain set to 3/4 . Highly recommend these speakers.
