The OATS8 requires no less than 18AWG speaker wire (use UL-rated CL2 or CL3 wiring). Usable AWG by distance from speaker to amplifier (based on 11% or 0.5dB power loss): 18 AWG – up to 35 ft. • 16 AWG – up to 55 ft. • 14 AWG – up to 100 ft. • 12 AWG – up to 150 ft. |
