KICKER and OSU Wake Team Return for Another Season on the Water
For the 2026 season, the Oklahoma State University Wakeboard and Water Ski Club is hitting the water with a new Axis T235 and an upgraded KICKER Premium Marine audio system designed to deliver powerful sound from the dock to the end of the rope.
Continuing a partnership built around supporting student athletes and growing watersports, KICKER worked with the OSU Wake Team to outfit the new boat with a complete M-Class audio system engineered specifically for life on the water.
In a recent walk-through video (see above), KICKER Marine Brand Manager Jeremy Bale and KICKER Global Training Manager Aaron Malin highlight the features and design decisions behind the build.
At the heart of the system is KICKER’s KMC4 Media Center, giving the team independent control over audio zones throughout the boat. M-Class speakers, tower speakers, and dual 12-inch free-air subwoofers deliver powerful, full-range sound from the cockpit to the rider. Compared to last season’s setup, the new configuration improves storage space, increases passenger headroom, and creates a cleaner installation without compromising performance.
The build is completed with KICKER’s MSLC lighting controller, allowing the team to customize the look and feel of the boat with integrated lighting control throughout the system.
Like every KICKER Marine product, the entire system is built to REAL MARINE standards—designed to withstand sun, water, vibration, and the demanding conditions that come with life on the lake.
The OSU Wake Team’s new Axis T235 is ready for another season of practices, competitions, and long days on the water—and now it sounds better than ever.
